Miniata Mushroom Farm positively works towards sustainable farming practices. The farm requires minimal space, water and energy needs to yield highly nutritious culinary fungi. Local hay is sourced as a growing medium for the mushrooms. Food grade re-useable plastic buckets are used to create hay logs on which the mushrooms grow. Glass jars are used to grow spawn. To reduce transport emissions we sell locally at markets and direct to customers. Our goal is to recycle and reuse while still having a viable business.
At Miniata Mushroom Farm, we take pride in offering only the freshest and most flavorful mushrooms to our customers. Our gourmet trays are carefully curated, each one handpicked and packed with care. Visit us at the markets to buy and taste the difference for yourself!
Come and see us every Saturday morning at Freds Pass Market, Coolalinga. If you live in Darwin we will be at Nightcliff Market on the first Sunday of every month starting February, 2024.
